By day, I teach high school social studies in beautiful Portland, Oregon. By night (and morning, and afternoon), I read voraciously and observe the rhythms of my own life, always looking for ways to refine and improve. I’m equal parts Buddhist and Deadhead, which means I embrace life’s weirdness, while attempting to stay present with what’s difficult and getting on with the friction of the day.
